Mike Mogan, with 24 years of experience as a civil engineer, brings a unique perspective to product design. His journey began in his family's garage, where he honed his skills alongside his father, a master craftsman. From crafting pinewood derby cars in Cub Scouts to pursuing civil engineering in college, Mike's path was a testament to his dedication and creativity.
As the founder and owner of e-Beach Wagon, Mike's personal experiences fueled his drive to revolutionize beach gear. The frustration of lugging heavy equipment across sandy shores led him to envision a smarter, more efficient solution. This vision became a reality through collaboration with Spline Product Development, a team comprising two mechanical engineers, an electrical engineer, and an industrial designer.

Daniel Reed, a mechanical engineer, and the owner of Spline Product Development brought 27 years of mechanical engineering expertise to the table. Assisting him was his brother and co-owner, Jamey Reed, who also brings a mechanical engineering background, ensuring that each technical aspect underwent meticulous design and rigorous testing for optimal performance. Additionally, an electrical engineer played a pivotal role in guaranteeing that the electrical components were designed and tested to meet stringent standards. Robert Fulbright, an industrial designer with 14 years of experience, added the perfect blend of aesthetics and functionality to e-Beach Wagon. His keen eye for design ensured that not only was the wagon structurally sound, but also visually appealing.
Over 500 hours of dedicated effort were invested in engineering and product development for e-Beach Wagon. This wasn't just a project undertaken by 1-2 individuals in a warehouse; it was a collaborative endeavor involving Mike Mogan and Spline.
